Trust Management Services

H.M. Payson and its members have been serving as trustees of private trusts for over forty years.  The Firm originally operated as a partnership and, as a result of the close working relationships they developed with their clients, the partners were frequently asked to serve as trustees of the trusts established for their clients’ families.  Our trust management services are based on the close working relationships that we maintain with our clients and their families, and the value of those relationships continues to define our fiduciary services and work today as an incorporated trust company.

When H.M. Payson agrees to act as a trustee, we undertake to meet and learn about all interested parties so that we may produce an investment policy statement to govern the administration and trust asset management within the framework of the trust document.  Our hallmark as a trustee is the time and attention we devote to staying in touch with our beneficiaries and their circumstances as they change over time so we may effectively administer the trust consistent with its objectives during the term of the trust.
