The Directors of HM Payson are pleased to announce the following promotions:

Michelle Santiago, Esq. has been named Chief Trust Administrative Officer and Pamela Stephenson, CTFA has been appointed Chair of the Fiduciary Services Committee.

In her role as Chief Trust Administrative Officer, Michelle will, in addition to her other duties, manage the legal compliance of all trusts and estates administered by HM Payson.

As Chair of the Fiduciary Services Committee, Pam will lead the Committee’s oversight role for all fiduciary obligations of HM Payson, including the administration, settlement and day to day management of all trusts and estates where the Firm or its members serve as Trustee, Executor, Personal Representative or in any other Fiduciary capacity.

Eric George, Portfolio Manager

Eric joins HM Payson with a career spanning over four decades in the retail brokerage industry. Concentrating his efforts on discretionary Portfolio Management, Eric has held positions at Merrill Lynch, Advest, as well as First Union Securities, the predecessor firm to Wells Fargo Advisors. He holds a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire, an M.S. from Troy State University, a CFP credential, as well as FINRA Series 7, 8, 15, 63, and 65 licenses. Eric also served in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corp. from 1972 to 1974. He enjoys skiing, diving, motorcycling, and travel. His two daughters, Emily and Libby, both live in California.

Tracy McMahon, Relationship Manager

Tracy joins HM Payson with 26 years’ of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as an Associate Vice President at Wells Fargo Advisors in Portland, Maine where she has worked since 2009.  Beginning her career at Kidder Peabody & Company in 1992, Tracy has since held positions with UBS and Morgan Stanley.  Tracy received her B.S. from SUNY Cortland and holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63, and 65 licenses, along with the State of Maine Insurance License. Tracy lives in Scarborough, Maine with her 3 children and she enjoys skiing, running, and biking.
